Richard & Joyce Green bought this abandoned old farm in 1985, when the forest had grown right up to the house and there were only a few acres of cleared land. After years of work they’ve turned it into a beautiful property, built three barns, and raised four daughters. They’ve kept chickens, sheep and goats, and grown pumpkins and corn. Nowadays they raise a small herd of beef cattle and cut & sell hay all summer long.
